Important COVID-19 Update

Parents/Members/Customers,

Please be advised of the following actions that MPCC is taking to serve and accommodate our customers during this trying time:

Extended Care:

Due to the unexpected closure of Extended Care for the remainder of the year, parents that opted for a credit to be applied to a future session, will now receive a refund. Per standard department policy, refunds can take up to 30 days* (*potentially longer based on staffing levels). All students will be removed from the remaining Extended Care sessions. Please submit any questions or concerns to Jacquelyn Tyre-Perry.

Preschool:

Due to the unexpected closure of Preschool for the remainder of the year, parents will now receive a partial refund for the last two weeks of March in which their children did not attend. Per standard department policy, refunds can take up to 30 days* (*potentially longer based on staffing levels). All students will be removed from remaining Preschool sessions. Please submit any questions or concerns to Arely Angel.

Recreation Programs:

All recreation programs are cancelled through July (with the potential for this to be extended). Cancelled programs include: July 4 Celebration (7/4),  and the Glow in the Park (8/15).

Aquatics:

Signal Bay Waterpark is currently closed and is tentatively scheduled to open August 1st.  The current restrictions for Phase 3 do not allow us to open the Waterpark, as aquatic play features must remain closed. The indoor pool will reopen when the Community Center reopens. All April-June swim lessons have been cancelled and refunds have been issued. If you have questions or concerns about your refund, please contact Sarah Barnett. No fall swim lessons are planned at this time.

Memberships:

We have frozen all memberships and membership payments until we are able to re-open.   As a result, your membership will be extended based on the number of days we are closed. If your bank automatically sends a check to cover your monthly membership payment, we will reach out to you when we receive your check to discuss your options.  We tentatively plan to open the Community Center on August 1st. Please submit questions to Amelia Powell.

Rentals:

Outdoor field/pavilion rentals will be available beginning on July 1st.  Renters must be compliant with the Governor’s regulations (e.g. social distancing, etc.) Please submit your rental requests to Amelia Powell.

Summer Day Camps:

We will be running camps for ages ranging from 6-17. Preschool camps will not run this Summer. Information and registration for day camps will open on July 1st.

    I have a rental for May but since the place will be closed until June 10 what do I do to get a refund on the deposit?

    Hi!
    I’m planning to have a rental on July 25th. Is the community center will be open until then if not then will I be able to rent the place when it reopens?
