The following policies and procedures provide the operating principles for the City of Manassas Park Department of Parks and Recreation. Contact Parks & Recreation with questions about policy content or how a policy applies to you specifically.
Forms & Fees
Each class/program must be accompanied by the registration form and payment. The forms and fees should be dropped off/or mailed to: Manassas Park Community Center, 99 Adams Street, Manassas Park, VA 20111. Checks are to be made payable to "City of Manassas Park." There is a $35.00 returned check fee for any check returned by the bank.
The Department of Parks & Recreation reserves the right to cancel any class/program which does not meet the minimum enrollment. All programs with insufficient enrollment will be cancelled 5 days prior to the program start date. PLEASE REGISTER EARLY!
Most of the fee based classes/programs are available to non-city residents at an additional fee. Please see the individual class/program for additional information.
In the event of inclement weather the Department of Parks & Recreation will follow the Local Government cancellation schedule. If classes/programs are cancelled, every attempt will be made to re-schedule the class/program.
