Please be advised that all MPCC memberships will be reactivated effective July 1st, 2021.
To help ease you into the membership activation process, here’s a few things that you may need to know, as well as some frequently asked questions to help guide you through the process.
2021 Member Reactivation FAQ’s
What does membership reactivation mean for me?
Members will regain all prior privileges associated with their respective membership package prior to their membership freeze. Please call front desk for more information about your membership details.
When will I get charged for membership?
Membership charges will get drawn on your anniversary day/day of the month you normally were charged before the membership freeze, i.e. Before the pandemic, my membership payment would come out the 9th day of every month. Will my membership change?
No, your membership will not change. If you would like to change or downgrade your membership, we ask that you cancel your membership and restart a new membership. Please contact Amelia Powell to cancel your membership at, email@example.com.
How do I cancel my membership?

What if I need to add or remove people on my membership plan?
Unfortunately, you cannot add or remove people on the All Access Passport, Basic Dual, or Basic Family Membership plans. We recommend to cancel your membership and restart a new membership. Please contact Amelia Powell about changing your membership at, email@example.com.
What is a no-question, no penalty cancellation?
We are offering a no-question, no penalty membership cancellation. We will allow members to cancel, without penalty. If they want to delay re-starting their membership, they will be advised to cancel their membership and sign up for a new one when they are ready to re-start. If they want to remove anyone from their membership, or downgrade, they will be advised to cancel and purchase a new membership.
Is there a deadline to cancel without incurring a charge?

What if I want to continue to freeze my account, because I’m not ready to come back yet?
If you would like to keep your membership frozen, we advise that you cancel your membership and restart a new membership when you are ready to come back. Please contact Amelia Powell to cancel your membership at, firstname.lastname@example.org.
On May 14, 2021, Governor Ralph Northam lifted Virginia’s universal mask mandate to align with CDC’s new guidance. Patrons and staff that have been vaccinated are no longer required to wear masks, however, anyone who has not been vaccinated is strongly encouraged to wear a mask. The Governor also announced on May 28, 2021 that Virginia will end all covid-19 mitigation measures, such as, distancing and capacity restrictions. We still have in place our increased cleaning plan since reopening August 2020, and have elevated our safety measures by incorporating Sani-Zone’s (air/surface disinfectors) installed in the following spaces: TC1, TC2, MP1, Mens Locker room, Womens Locker room, Teen Center, and the Preschool/Kids Korner room.
I’m vaccinated, do I still need to wear a face mask?
Patrons and staff that have been vaccinated are no longer required to wear masks, however, anyone who has not been vaccinated is strongly encouraged to wear a mask. The CDC and Virginia’s recent mask guidelines state that fully-vaccinated individuals do not have to wear masks in most indoor settings, except on public transit, in health care facilities, and in congregate settings. www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/vaccines/fully-vaccinated-guidance.html
Will you be doing health screenings of patrons before entering?
We will not be doing health screenings of our patrons, but we ask all patrons and employees with known exposure or exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19 to stay home.
Are you holding swim lessons?

Will you be offering swim lessons at All Access Member rate?
We will start offering swim lessons at All Access Member rates on July 1, 2021.
Will there be lap lines open during swim lessons?
Yes, 1 lap lane will be open during swim lessons.
Will the hot tub be open?
We believe the hot tub will be able to open on May 28th when the Governor lifts all COVID-19 mitigation restrictions. We will update this question once we have confirmation.
Are you doing season passes to Signal Bay Waterpark?
No, we will not be doing season passes this year. Instead, we will be offering punch passes. Punch passes include 15 admissions into water park during operating hours, as long as capacity allows. Punch passes do not have to be used by same person. Those using the punch pass DO need to be part of the same household. Must be 12 years old or older to purchase. Not eligible for day cares or parties.

When will Summer Camps start?
Summer Camps will begin on July 5th and conclude on August 9th.
What Summer Camps are you offering?

Will aftercare be offered?
Yes, after care will be available, but it will be at limited capacity. (Max 30 participants)
Do you have a limit on Summer Camp participants?
Yes, we have limited capacity for summer camps. There will be a maximum of 15 kids in each camp.
Can I pay weekly?
Yes, you can pay for camps weekly, but payment will be due the Wednesday before the Monday of the start of camp.
When will payments be due for Summer Camp?
Payment will be due the Wednesday before the Monday of the start of camp. If you sign up for auto payments, they will start July 1, 2021 for all 6 weeks of camp. The first week of camp must be paid in full. First payment is due at registration for the first camp. If you are signing up for multiple camps, the 1st week requires full payment and secures a spot in the camp.
Do camp participants need to wear face masks?
Campers should wear masks while participating in our summer camps, with a few exceptions (e.g. eating/drinking, exercising/physical activity, playing outside).
Will extended care/preschool restart in the Fall?
Yes, Preschool and Extended Care are scheduled to resume in the Fall.
Will school age programming resume in the fall?
Yes, we will have school age programs available during the fall season.
Will you have Kids Korner on Saturday Mornings?
Kids Korner will restart on July 1st. There will be no morning hours, only afternoon hours. No Saturdays as of right now.
Are you reestablishing the coffee bar? How about general programming?
The coffee bar will restart in the fall. Yes, we will have programs available during the fall season.
Will any classes be added to the current Group Exercise schedule?
Two additional classes will be added this fall, likely in September. *These are classes that were previously removed due to COVID-19.
Any upcoming limitations in the gym?
During the hours of 8:30AM-4:00PM from July 1st – August 9th, there will be no drop-in basketball due to summer camps.
