The Indoor Pool at the Manassas Park Community Center will re-open this Saturday at 7:00am. While we are excited to show off the new whitecoat there are some important points to be aware of over the next few weeks:
The whitecoat is still going through a curing process. As a result, the pool may appear dirty or sandy. This is normal. However, we are not able to vacuum for almost 2 more weeks, so our only option is to brush. While brushing the dust does increase the cloudiness of the water, the water is safe to swim in.
There is a small chance that some sharp edges or debris exist in the whitecoat. We recommend the use of water shoes over the coming weeks while we continue to identify and remedy any issues.
We greatly appreciate your patience during the pool’s closure and we apologize for any inconvenience.
