Celebrate America – $36/AAP; $60/M; $65/R; $70/NR

Celebrate the greatness of America with us as we learn a bit of history. There will be lots of fun with classic games and crafts.

Do you have a budding musician in your house looking for a creative outlet?  This week we will make instruments and celebrate music. *No camp 7/4.

Space is the place where planets, constellations, stars, and meteors exist. We will learn all about these terms while having lots of fun. Children will be able to create their own model solar system.

Pre-K at the Bay – $36/AAP; $60/M; $65/R; $70/NR

Join us at Signal Bay Waterpark for Pre-K at the Bay! We will learn the wonders of the ocean through songs, lessons, games, and crafts. We’ll end each day with a splash at Signal Bay Waterpark. Children MUST come wearing their swim attire; sunblock MUST be applied before camp. Location: Signal Bay Waterpark. Each session is limited to 15 participants.

Ready to explore a different country? You do not need a passport or any luggage, we will make them in class! We will learn about new cultures and learn words in different languages. Join us for our trip around the world.

Want to get a pet? Not sure if you are ready? In this camp we will discuss the importance of taking good care of our animals. We will have a special visit by a local veterinarian.

We will let our imaginations take flight as we explore activities and create using a variety of materials.

If you love critters, or just want to know more about them, join us for Bugging Out. We will learn about different kinds of insects, go on nature walks in Costello Park, and explore insect life cycles.

There is no better place to be than at the Manassas Park Community Center for Summer Camp. With an array of themes, sports, and fun activities there is no room for boredom.  Campers are grouped together by age. All school age camps are for children entering 1st grade through entering 6th grade.

Martial Arts Olympics Camp – $60/AAP; $100/M; $110/R; $120/NR

Children enter as themselves and leave as a virtual Chuck Norris!  Campers train in the competitive skills of martial arts, including no contact rhythm sparring, child-safe board breaking, and Nerf archery! At the end of the week they enter the arena and compete for top honors. Uniforms are available for purchase at a discounted price at the camps. Sessions are limited to 30 participants per session.

Each day will hold a new design theme and a new kind of clay.

H2O & Go Camp – $60/AAP; $100/M; $110/R; $120/NR

Each day, your camper will receive group and individual swim lessons taught by certified lifeguards. We will play games like kickball, basketball, and soccer in the afternoon. Each session is limited to 12 participants.

Tennis Camp – $50/AAP; $90/M; $100/R; $110/NR

This camp covers basic hits, strokes, and stances needed to play a match, and each day ends with a swim at Signal Bay Waterpark. It is recommended that you bring your own racquet. Session is limited to 20 participants. Parent must provide a packed lunch and a water bottle. In the event of inclement

With tons of daily experiments and hands-on fun while learning the ins and outs of science, your camper will surely be the next Bill Nye. *No camp on 7/4.

Art can be expressed in many different forms, but what better way to do it than getting messy in the process. Send your campers in clothes you do not mind them getting dirty, because messy art will be just that…MESSY!

Samurai Warriors Camp – $60/AAP; $100/M; $110/R; $120/NR

It’s 19th century Japan.  The Emperor is seeking recruits for his army of Samurai Soldiers!  He only has one week to train the loyal farmers that surround his castle in: Kendo (Way of the Sword), Nerf archery, foam rubber bo staff, water artillery, water cannons, and this new stuff called Karate that one of the villagers recently invented.  The soldiers have 5 days to train, including creating and building their own Samurai armor to protect them against the enemy forces. The fate of the Emperor’s nation depends on you! Sessions are limited to 30 participants per session.

Basketball Camp – $60/AAP; $100/M; $110/R; $120/NR

Are you ready to take your child’s basketball skills and knowledge of the game to the next level? Your child will love being a part of this action-packed camp. Campers will learn basics of basketball through various drills each morning and will feature tournament style games in the afternoon. Campers will swim once a week on the scheduled swim day at the Manassas Park Community Center.

Forensic Files – $60/AAP; $100/M; $110/R; $120/NR

From analyzing fingerprints to crime scenes, Forensic Files will be sure to boost your camper’s detective skills.

Soccer Camp – $60/AAP; $100/M; $110/R; $120/NR

Soccer Camp provides players of all abilities with the opportunity to receive soccer coaching. Each day includes individual foot skills, technical drills, tactical practices, small-sided games, coached scrimmages, and daily fun.  This camp is open to all skill levels. Campers will swim once a week on the scheduled swim day at the Manassas Park Community Center.

Ninja Warrior Challenge – $60/AAP; $100/M; $110/R; $120/NR

Camp participants are thrust back in time to ancient Japan, where they must learn the skills of the Ninja warriors.  A combination “Capture the Ninja Flag”, “American Gladiators” and “Ninja Warrior Obstacle Course” will test their metal and skills.  They will learn acrobatics, proper use of Ninja equipment (foam and Nerf), Martial Arts, and more!  Ninja uniforms and child safe weapons may be purchased at the camps with parent approval.  Please email wcrbkarate@aol.com for more information. Campers will choose and practice a famous play or musical, create their own props, and costumes. Parents are invited to attend Friday’s performance.

A week of obstacles, relay races, contests, and lots of teamwork.

There are so many sports to choose from, and if you are having trouble selecting one, then this camp is perfect for you! Not only will we cover the mainstream sports but we will dive into the alternative sports such as kickball and wiffleball. This camp is perfect for the camper who enjoys variety. Campers will swim once a week on the scheduled swim day at the Manassas Park Community Center.

Campers will learn about different countries and their respective cuisines, languages, and traditions.

Flag Football Camp – $60/AAP; $100/M; $110/R; $120/NR

With football season right around the corner, this camp is guaranteed to get your ball player ready for the upcoming season by engaging in conditioning and defensive and offensive drills. Pads and cleats are not required for this flag/touch football camp.  This camp is open to all skill levels. We will end each day with a swim at Signal Bay Waterpark. Parent must provide a packed lunch and a water bottle is recommended. In the event of inclement weather campers will be transported by certified staff from Signal Hill Park to the Manassas Park Community Center. Location: Signal Hill.

Cheer Camp – $60/AAP; $100/M; $110/R; $120/NR

In this camp you will learn the basics of cheers, chants, tumbling, and making pyramids.  At the end of camp, the cheerleaders will perform a special routine for parents.  Campers will swim once a week on the scheduled swim day at the Manassas Park Community Center.

Kids Choice Camp – $60/AAP; $100/M; $110/R; $120/NR

This camp is perfect for the camper who enjoys a variety of activities. Camp will include various crafts, games, and activities of your camper’s choosing. Parent must provide a packed lunch and a water bottle is recommended.

Helping Hands Camp – $21/AAP; $35/M; $40/R; $45/NR

Give back to your community this summer here at MPCC. Maybe you need community service hours for a volunteer organization or college applications. This is the perfect camp for you as we serve a different community organization each day and you receive 14 hours of community service at the end of the week.

This camp will include skills and drills based on the sport chosen for the day. Games and tournaments will be held throughout the week will put your kills to use. No camp 7/4.

Do you have an eye for fashion! Do you like setting trends? Join us for this one-week class where we will explore different forms of fashion and we’ll even make our own clothing.

Adventure camp is based around a variety of outdoor activities. Camp will include field trips to local parks and outdoor team building facilities including: Burke Lake Park, Vertical Rock Climbing Center, Uptown Alley, and many more.

Expand your palate and learn how to cook some new and exciting foods. You will hang out with friends and try new foods!

Cool off from the scorching heat of the summer as we explore our area’s best waterparks and lakes. There may even be a water balloon fight or two! We will take a trip to a new location every day while socializing with friends. Don’t forget your swim attire, towel, and sunscreen!
