See Global, Stay Local multicultural event is 4/27 from 6pm-8pm

See Global Stay Local multicultural event is THIS Thursday, April 27 from 6:00pm-8:00pm at the Manassas Park Community Center. This community festival celebrates the diversity of the residents of Manassas Park and the members of the Manassas Park Community Center (MPCC) too!

Join us for a night of fun! Share unique artifacts, traditional dress, family heirlooms and art from each country.  You will receive a Passport and stickers as you enter. Then, please visit with representatives from each of the featured countries, and have your passport stamped.

After you have visited each county, drop your passport in the basket for our raffle! You could win a beautiful basket full of goodies from one of the countries featured!

The Prince William County Librarians will be on hand help residents sign up for library cards and will also recommend books for further reading!

Do not miss the art projects from the MPCC Buddy Club! The Buddy Club is a one of a kind, self-facilitated adult social group for individuals with developmental and cognitive disabilities.

There will also be activities for the kids including FREE face painting and great live music too!   Kids will create their own flags, maps, and stories!

Join us for this unique multicultural celebration for FREE on Thursday, April 27 from 6:00pm-8:00pm!
